The address matters more than usual here. Countryside Center Ln runs off Cedar Bluff Road, about 2 minutes from the exit ramp, in the middle of an office corridor. You will not find an acne facial or a hydrating facial listed here as separate services, and it is worth saying why. Both are a customized facial aimed at one concern, with a licensed esthetician adjusting the exfoliation, the extractions and the product as the 60 minutes go along. That is also why the intake form asks what you are using on your skin at home. Fill it in properly, because the answer changes what your esthetician reaches for on the day.

Glo2Facial, the one booked most often

The Glo2Facial is a 50 to 60 minute oxygen-infusion service. Guests often choose it before weddings, graduations or professional photos; if it is your first one, leave enough time before the event to see how your skin responds.

Dermaplane alone, or added to a facial

Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to lift vellus hair and dead cells from the surface. It can be booked by itself or added to a facial. Choose the version you want when scheduling so we can reserve the correct amount of time.

Planning a facial during the workday

Allow about 75 minutes at the spa for a 50 to 60 minute facial, including intake and checkout. Travel time is additional, so a one-hour lunch break is usually too short. A 90-minute break provides a more comfortable schedule.

What does work: a 90 minute block, a half day, or the 5 p.m. hour. Traffic in this office corridor thins out after 5, and the weeknight facial treatments people ask for usually start between 5 and 6:30. Book the 5:15, walk out at 6:15, and the exit 378 ramp is about 2 minutes away.

• A hard 60 minute lunch is too tight. Plan 75 to 80 minutes door to door.
• Late mornings Monday through Thursday are usually the easiest to get on a day or two of notice.

Sauna first, or facial first?

Sauna first, then the facial. The half of that answer we feel strongly about is the second half. A facial finishes by putting serum, moisturizer and SPF onto skin you just exfoliated, and 30 minutes at 130°F after that sweats off most of the last 10 minutes of the appointment while flushing a face that is already pink.

Going in first is more of a comfort call than a rule. Warm skin in January beats skin that just crossed a cold parking lot, and heat before a facial is the same idea as the steam that opens the session. It is optional. If you flush easily, or dermaplane is on the booking, skip the sauna and go straight to the table.

• Book the 30 minute sauna first, with about 10 minutes to cool down before the facial starts.
• Book both services together or call the front desk so we can coordinate the two rooms for you.
• Dermaplane on the same visit is a good reason to leave the heat out beforehand.
• Skip sauna, steam and hot yoga for the 24 hours after any facial, wherever you booked it.
• If you only have 60 minutes to spend, take the facial and leave the sauna for another visit.

What your skin does over the next two weeks

Most people walk out looking better than they walked in. A few walk out pink, especially after extractions, and that is ordinary rather than a warning sign. Here is the 14 day version we give at the desk, so nothing catches you off guard on the drive home.

None of this is medical care and none of it is permanent. Skin turns over roughly every 28 to 40 days, and that is where the every 4 to 6 weeks rhythm comes from. One facial buys you a good week. Nine of them across a year is a different proposition.

• First 2 to 6 hours: pink is normal, and the more extraction happened the longer end of that you get.
• Rest of day 1: the SPF stays on, and nothing new goes on your face.
• Hours 1 to 24: the infrared sauna, hot yoga and a tanning bed all wait, and so does a long stretch of afternoon sun heading west on I-40.
• Nights 1 and 2: skin often feels tighter than usual while it rehydrates, so moisturize before bed and use a clean pillowcase.
• Day 2 to day 3: whatever was already forming under an extraction site can arrive early, then go.
• Day 3 to day 7: the stretch where most people say their skin looks its best.
• Week 2: the glow is gone and the SPF is doing the work. Put the next one on the calendar 4 to 6 weeks from the last.

What a facial can and cannot change

A facial is skin care, not medicine. We would rather say that at the desk than let anyone book on the wrong expectation. Acne, rosacea, eczema and melasma are medical diagnoses, and they belong to a dermatologist. A licensed esthetician works alongside that care, never in place of it, and will say when something needs a doctor rather than a facial room.

It also will not rebuild in 60 minutes what took 20 years to show up. Anti-aging facial treatments work on hydration, texture and how even the tone looks, and what they give is cumulative, showing across a run of visits rather than after one. Nobody at this front desk is going to tell you a facial erases a wrinkle.

When to reschedule instead

An active cold sore, a sunburn that is still pink or broken skin anywhere on the face are all good reasons to reschedule. Please list medications, at-home products and recent procedures on your intake form. Your esthetician will review them before the session and let you know if the treatment should be adjusted or moved to another date.

It is not hair removal either

Dermaplaning lifts vellus hair at the surface and it grows back exactly as it was, not thicker and not permanently gone. If hair is the actual goal, that is the waxing menu, and brow, lip, chin and body waxing all book at 9621 too.

Choosing between Cedar Bluff and Farragut

Same menu at both spas, same licensed-esthetician standards, and both were named Best of Knoxville 2026, so the honest tiebreaker is the drive. For anyone east of Pellissippi Parkway that is this address. Exit 378 puts you in the lot about 2 minutes off the interstate, which beats the Kingston Pike crawl through Bearden at 5:30 on a Thursday.

Choose the location that is easiest to reach. Cedar Bluff is at 9621 Countryside Center Lane, and Farragut is at 10935 Kingston Pike. Each spa has its own online calendar, and either front desk can help you check the other location if your preferred time is unavailable.

Coming from the east or north

Bearden and West Hills are 5 to 8 minutes east on Kingston Pike. From downtown or the UT campus, figure 12 to 15 minutes west on I-40. Karns and Northshore land near 10 to 12 minutes, and Powell is roughly 15 to 20 minutes down I-75.

Coming from west of Pellissippi Parkway

Farragut, Turkey Creek, Hardin Valley, Solway and Concord all sit closer to 10935 Kingston Pike, usually 8 to 15 minutes, and Lenoir City runs 15 to 25. Coming east to us instead means 15 to 25 minutes of Kingston Pike lights. Same skin menu out there, and an infrared table sauna at that address too.

Should the infrared sauna go before or after my facial?

Before, with about 10 minutes in between, and the part that really matters is not after. A facial ends with serum, moisturizer and SPF on freshly exfoliated skin, and 30 minutes at 130°F sweats most of that back off. Skip heat entirely for the 24 hours afterward. Sauna beforehand is optional, and worth skipping if you flush easily.

What is the latest appointment on a weeknight?

I break out constantly. Will a facial clear it up?

Not on its own. Extractions clear congestion that squeezing at home tends to make worse, and that part is real work. But acne is a medical diagnosis, and the prescription side of it sits with a dermatologist; your esthetician works with that, not around it. In an active stretch, the rhythm tightens to about 3 weeks instead of 6.
